The conference gathers people who are passionate about nature, art, science, curiosity, awe, and wonder to share ideas, learn from each other, inspire each other, and have fun together in nature’s beauty. Your Live Pass includes access to 30 classes, panels, and talks, and you can look forward to learning from more than 30 teachers, journalers, writers, artists, authors, and thought leaders in nature, nature journaling, visual thinking, and conservation.

Kick your watercolor painting skills up a notch by focusing on key techniques and addressing common problems. This class focuses on essential skills for watercolor artists—whether you are working in a sketchbook or creating framed artwork. Each class will put your painting through the paces with a variety of fun exercises. Suggested homework will keep your brushes moving between sessions so that you continue to practice and improve. A perfect class for beginners and those looking to improve quickly!

This workshop focuses on multiple ways to sketch and paint nature-related subjects with an eye toward deepening your understanding, appreciation, and personal connection to the places you live or visit.

Hello Jean, I studied with Marilee Nielsen in Orange County, CA where we did a project based on your journaling. I’ve watched your you tube workshop with kids and drew along with your collections. But why I am writing, is I cannot quite master or get a teacher on line to help me with layering although I sent a partial picture of your poppy and green bud where you have three or more layers overlapping. I am obsessed with learning how to do this as I usually am disappointed in my watercolors although I can draw well. Will you please teach an on-line workshop in watercolor?
On my laptop it is difficult to see unless an instructor has a close camera to watch the technique. Any advise for an 83 year old who has taken classes but only like your style, especially your florals.

Hi Patty- I will have several online classes with Winslow plus an in person travel workshop to Italy in the fall. I’ll post a January class in November. Thanks for your interest.
